visit. Proceeds from its sale go towards the upkeep of the paths and
visitor centre.

2007 - 2009
The
Ranger post and Explore Abernethy Centre are funded by Scottish Natural
Heritage, Cairngorms National Park Authority, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and the Highland Council.
Footpaths

BASED IN THE COMMUNITY CENTRE
The centre is open from Easter until the end of October.
Saturday - Wednesday, 11am-4pm.

GROUP VISITS
Visits
can include
a guided walk or talk, activities or just visit to the centre. We
cater for all ages and abilities and also have a range of brand new field equipment which may can be used on
outings with the ranger. Items include: a butterfly net, metal
detectors, hand lenses and bug pots (bought with funding from the
Scottish Community Foundation).
In the past we have
hosted many groups including schools, nurseries, walking groups and
even a dog club.
Visits are free, although donations are welcome. If you are interested
in bringing a group to the centre, please contact the ranger to discuss
your requirements - ranger@nethybridge.com
